Outlook 2003 - Extract contacts from messages?

Hi,

Is their a free way to extract e-mail addresses from the "from" field in emails that are in my inbox. So essentially I want to create a contact for every person that emailed me.

Thanks,

Export the inbox to another format such as tab-delimited, comma-delimited or excel. Then you can open it up in a spreadsheet and one of the columns will be the addresses.

Thanks but apparently I don't have some sort of "translator" as outlook is calling it to complete the operation.

Anyone have a free third party app?

I use "extract emails." It is a small program I found many years ago... http://www.getfreefile.com/ . I don't see it on their site anymore...

anyway, I would simply browse to the folder were the emails are stored and all the emails would appear.

Guess this will not work for you since you want only the "from" field... my way gets all fields including emails in the body of the message. lol...
