I am looking for a remote technical support position, be it voice chat, text chat, or ticket-based. I live in the United Kingdom, however will of course consider companies based in any country where it is legal to hire me. My hours are extremely flexible, I can work shifts any time between 8am-midnight GMT, possibly earlier or later if I am notified in advance.
I have experience with DirectAdmin and CPanel from both an administrator and user point of view, gained from a small host I owned from 2003-2006, which I was forced to close due to other things in my life keeping me busy and inhibiting progress of the company - however, my clients were kept extremely happy during these years and I recieved testimonials from some of them congratulating me on my ability to respond to their questions in a friendly and efficient manner.
Since I have been using Linux for 7 years, I have inevitably picked up quite a few skills there and consider myself a competent system administrator - while I am not looking for an administration position, I would be comfortable with any work which would need to be done with servers while on the helpdesk. I can also program in a handful of languages, preferring Python and C++.
