uptime monitor scripts
Hello,
given the recent paid-switch of host-tracker, i want to monitor some websites myself.
I've a fairly reliable dedicated server (2007 : 12 minutes downtime so far checked every minute), so i'd like to monitor from this server some websites shared-hosted elsewhere, (just 1 server is not optimal, but the chance of both being unavailable at the same time should be minimal).
I'm wondering if someone could be so kind to suggest me some pre-made scripts /software suitable for my needs, basically i need just something that monitors my website and send me emails when goes down, and when it's back.
Uptime calculation would be great, but not mandatory.
thanks for your help."I want" never gets ...
