startlogic review


anyone else here use hosting at Startlogic? i usually have domain registration issue with them. When i sign up a domain and request for pointing it to my existing host, i have to wait more than a week. Their support is too bad! And do you realize that they have some big chances these days?
1. Live chat online: now very bad,
All operators are currently assiting others. Thanks for your patience....
Do you know how many times i see this sentence? more than 40 times (about 1 hour)...i contacted they many times in a day and still see this sentence. I just believe that their chat support staff are sleeping in the work hours

2. Live chat support staff
They are more than 4 or 5 staffs before but now, mabye there's only 2. i dont see the old ones. where are they now?

Can someone check this link and tell me what they're doing? it's not a normal kayako. Maybe they did something like that to make them easier, not their customers, no tracking ticket through email, no ticket number v...v

Oh my god. i'm really curious and interested in knowing their purposes for their changing..
anyone know the secret here?

Quite frankly, your experiences aren't exactly out of place.. I'd consider them the norm. Exit, if you can.

Right, I see issues like that often about this host. Generally, their customer feedback isn't very impressive IMO.

Since there are several better hosts around, why stay....?

ya, they're lied. they always say that my problem will be solved in next 12-24hours.. "our admin is working on this" etc. last time, i sign up a domain and request for pointing to my existing host -> 1week and 3 days
and now i sign up a domain, they forget my order????? i have to contact many times and place an order again. and now more than 1 week, my domain still doesn't work. They say maybe it's fraud problem??? i can't believe it

i don't want to try bashing a hosting company but if they tell the truth about their problem, i will be patient and acceptable. But please don't lie and cheat me! i'm not a kid

PS: i try to contact many times, 1AM, 8AM, 12AM, 17PM, 9PM ->i always have to wait more than 30mins for this " All operators are currently assiting others. Thanks for your patience....". I ask and they say "we have a lot of customers to assit" . Lied

I really really want to move quickly

i can't believe that they sent me a welcome email for my domain, i can log in vdeck but wrong combination of username and password in manage.opensrs

now i'm live chat with a guy... whenever i ask him a question. he answer 'please hold on' and then ' thank you for your patience' repeatly

Support: I understand your frustration, but due to high e-mail and chat volume, we were unable to assist you in a timely manner.

is he a robot????

i can't believe that domain registration takes 2 weeks and now still not solved. it's not my fault, it's their fault and it's a very simple issue. they can solve it in only 5mins..but why don't they want to fix it????

If you have so many complaints with them, why don't you consider moving to a host with a better reputation?

Unless it requires ordering new equipment or is an unusual support request then support should come back in hours at the most, not days.

On the other hand please remember that 'Live Chat' is not an end run around other customers who also have support requests but at the same time you should expect resolution of some sort so you won't be left to wonder.

If you are not happy with the service being provided then seek a hosting provider that can accommodate your needs better.
