Hello,

Does anyone know of any shared hosting providers that have the PST timezone on their servers? I've been having a hard time finding a provider that can meet this qualification. Seems like most are on central time or eastern.

Hello,

One of the php scripts I use doesn't have support for changing it's timezone, and it pulls it's time off of the server. So all the times reported in the script are off of the server, and since i'm in PST and most of the servers are central the times are all off.

Couldn't you recode this to pull the system time? If the script is coded good, it should be as simple as changing 1 line.

It would certainly be better than settling for a host solely based on the fact that they are in the PST timezone.

We're in California and I would think all California DC hosts would be using PST?

There's a ton of companines in Wilshire / LA, it would be really odd if they were all syncing to Central time.

Great thanks imountain, this does seem odd to me as well, i'm sure there are many hosts that host over here in Wilshire.....but i haven't been able to find any hosts in the offers section, i've done about 20 live chats and they are all central time.
