This question has been bugging me since I used them. Does Google Reader cache RSS feeds? If yes, how they do it? Suggestions and comments more than welcomed....

Do they keep an archive of the reader then?
Is there any article online which talks about the mechanism behind google reader?
Is there anyone else using the same caching technique as Google Reader?

I think most of those web-based RSS services cache the data. I haven't seen any articles, and I don't think google will give up any information about the service.
