    daily cron setting

Hello, i am using whm/cpanel and hav noticed that about 1pm my server load goes up, it appears that logcheck starts running on all domains.

The logcheck script is in the etc/cron.daily dir
    setting for etc/cron dir's are:

    # run-parts
    01 * * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.hourly
    02 4 * * * root run-parts /etc/cron.daily
    22 4 * * 0 root run-parts /etc/cron.weekly
    42 4 1 * * root run-parts /etc/cron.monthly

The settings for daily do not correspond with the actual time the logcheck script runs.

My server is US easten time but i am in the UK, i have set server time in WHM to UK time.

    any idea

    many thanks

why not just move it out of the folder, and create a new job for it and set it to run when you want
