powweb seems to offer a pretty cheap hosting plan..has anyone have any experiences with them?

Max, a word of advice. Bashing a competitor and advertising your service through use of a signature will not win friends here. Perhaps when someone ask about your service here, I will reply with the exact same quote you made.

Powweb rocks, but I'm kinda biased, so why not ask our customers?

Well, isn't this a healthy way to advertise yourself to potential clients. I don't mind the idea of being thorough (when done in moderation), but now attacking regular members of this board? Are you sure you're running a serious business? Last I heard stupid snyde remarks like that didn't have a place in the office.

Just an oppinion and some words of caution. You may not have or want a single client from WebHostingTalk but it's never good to insult your neighbour.

I agree, that really made me not want to sign up with your company. Remarks like that can really make people want to stay away from you. I know after reading that, that's how I felt. Nobody wants a childish, sarcastic host. Even though it might be true for most hosts, the majority don't let their clients know it

IC, so it's do as I say, not as I do? Interesting.

    oh puh-lease

some full grown adults can be sarcastic and behave childishly, and some may even be web hosts ... but gosh who in their right mind would chuck a hissy fit in an open forum with potential customers ?

I mean, one would have to be a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic wouldn't you think ?

Right susannad, one expects a certain air of professionalism to be displayed in public by companys we do business with.
At this point, even if I were a customer of powweb, I would be embarrassed to say so.
