PHP and mySQL locally?

Hi all,

I'm on a Win XP system right now. Is there a way to simulate PHP scripts and mySQL databases locally? I'm going to try my hands on PHP after so many years using Miva. I know Miva has an app to simulate their script and database locally.

Thanks!

Get phpTriad from SourceForge, great program. You can run PHP/MySQL together, and server it on http://localhost

You could also get Apache, php, and mysql installed locally...

I do this for learning php/ mysql programming and I'm actually runnig a LAN site on it.

Hmm.... I might go check this out, it sounds quite interesting...
