Hi all,

I am thinking about hosting with Media Temple's Dedicated Virtual Server. What's everyone's experience with them like? If not Media Temple, who do you suggest?

It all depends on what your looking for and the best way to find reviews is to do a search.

Budget:
$50 - $100 Monthly
256-512 MB RAM
40G Storage
1-2 TB Network Transfer
SSH Access
Able to compile and install any software
Host is proven to be able to withstand a Digg or Slashdot burst effect

I have done some searches on MT on the forum, but I haven't found a whole lot of info on their DV service.

My biggest concern on MT DV is that I really don't know how much and what kind of CPU do I get and I also don't know if their DV can survive a Digg or Slashdot.

I just read about MyriadNetwork in another thread and I went over to check them out. They provide a lot more information on their DV plans than MT. Not sure if they host better, but providing more information so that I know what am I paying for is a good thing.
