HostGator is one of the bigger hosting company so you shouldn't have any problems with them.

The only thing I would worry about is if you use to much resources they will suspend your account for the day (supposedly) according to other members on WHT.

What is your problem with RZ?
What kind of website do you have and what package are you interested to get from HG? (reseller or shared)

Yeah, I agree.. resource limitation is strict due to overselling..

Bigger does not equate quality, though, speaking about HG, my personal experience does suggest that as they grew their service has actually improved overall. Hostforweb is not a small company either, so size won't be a factor in choosing one company over the other.

That may indeed be factor. Another one is the price. When you pay $10, expect to get your $10 worth of computing power.

Thanks for the commentaries. At this moment it buys a month in hostforweb to prove, comparing the terms, seem more flexible to me, but well, already I will tell them within a time...

At the moment I will follow with the account to reseller in RZ (failover), while I compare and I prove the other options, we will continue studying the landscape, but my problem is:

It does very little that I am there, perhaps by chance was called on to me to arrive in one season problematic of the service...

But the certain thing is my webs are very small, do not consume almost resource still and nevertheless, I have passed downtimes, problems with the email, the inaccessible fantastico..... at this moment seems to be all resolute one, but always it is left the uncertainty:

What will happen tomorrow?

My business is not reseller massive, simply I want to give to a stable service to my clients of webdesign.

I have been using hostgator reseller account for over a year and I have to agree that in the last 2 months their support seems to have improved from when I started. I have over 70 sites hosted in my account and no problems to speak of after they upgraded the server.

There were some issues with email before the upgrade (delayed emails due to the server resources not being available) and I had complaints about that from 1 of my clients. These went away with the server upgrade.

I have no experience with the other host you mentioned.
