Question

Hosting My Own SiteS

Hello everone,
Well i design websites for people and they ask where should i host the site and i can get email and ftp and a cpanel and so on and i just let them host it on my account on free web hosting provider but i currently have 1 site hosted on my server which is running on windows server edition 2003 and it gives me the option to add another website how would i do that using the same ip?

Thanks

Hello,
It's not a problem and you could use one IP address for more than one web site.
Just add the new sites in IIS console and assign the IP address.

Regards

As the previous poster points out. You can share an IP over a number of IIS hosted accounts. The only time you'll need a dedicated IP is if you're wanting to host a dedicated SSL certificate or require anonymous FTP access.
