Moodle is a great software and its very easy to customize, based on the requirement. Let it be any training requirement of yours you can get it done through Moodle.

Depending in the Country your in and if the UK its LEA your assigned to then, I would say for the UK, CMIS by Serco WinApp and WebBased, (also known as Facility ePortal). SIMS.net by Capita are releasing there WebBased version this year which I presume will be pretty good for us and other UK based Educationial establishments.
