This includes everything right from compiling different applications like third party applications, kernel installation and upgrades, controlling dos attack and spamming issues on the server, troubleshooting failed services etc.
Eg – Fixing spamming and dos issues, installing and upgrading kernel from source, grsec patches, securing server with the help of third party scripts, load management etc. In short all mom and pop issues related to server.
