WebNX: Premium Los Angeles colo, Best Mzima prices!

Thank you for checking out WebNX’s colo specials.

If you have not seen our posts in the past, WebNX is known for offering unique high-end affordable dedicated servers. We are located in Down town Los Angeles, next door to One Wilshire. We have 3 different network offerings, Our Premium mix is Level3, Savvis, Verio, UUnet, Dtag and some local peering. Our Mzima network is primarily used for the local game server clients (as Mzima has some of the best LA peering), and lastly our Value network, which currently is pure Cogent (Second provider will be online soon).

One unique offering we can provide is allowing clients to cross connect with their dedicated server(s). If you already have a server with us we will setup a free cross connect to it (all of our servers have at least two network cards). This would make it easy for you to setup a mini cluster, do local backups, load balance, and so on.

We have just gained an extra 1,000 sq’ of data center space, if you have a unique setup / special needs please contact us and we will see what can be done.

Keep an eye out for other specials in the coming weeks, but for now on with this weeks promo!

All clients with a /29 (5 usable ips) on a private vlan, a remote rebooter port (current done via tickets and within 10 minutes), 10mbps network drop (unless >5mbps or 1TB metered plans)

This is a colo post, not a dedicated server post. Right now Mzima is limited to colo and high BW clients, we will not be offering it to dedicated servers for a few more weeks. As far as your current Dedicated server goes, you don't trust us to load your windows onto it (even though countless other companies have), and as I told you we limit KVM/IP access to current clients first, then to new clients. We emailed you about a week ago letting you know one was free for use but have yet to receive a response back from you.

Dan

I was told you can provide me with a KVM without a problem. But you told me that if your version of windows didn't work with my key I would need to upload a .iso file. However I haven't received a email regarding any KVM info so i can try :-/ or are you saying you don't have a IPKVM available at the moment?

I have had no problems with WebNX, but then again we colo "AND" I trust them to install windows because they can do it much more rapidly than I can.

Thanks for this info. I've left several voice mail messages trying to get someone from your company to call me back over the last few weeks to discuss your colo options. I was starting to think that you had stopped offering colo services. Is there another number besides the one on your website that I should call to speak with someone?

Ryan

Hello Ryan, Feel free to give our 800# a call. We were short on staff a few weeks back, but have recently added more staff to cover the phones. If for some reason you cannot reach someone give me a call directly at 800-840-5996 x 4511 Thanks

Why don't you trust them to load windows?
