What content do you look for in a forum?

Usually a bunch of letters strung together to form words. Then you take those words and group them together to form a sentence. Once that's done you put a few sentences together and form a paragraph. Repeat the process until your point is made.

Seriously though, that's not a question anyone can answer without know what the website is about, what the forum topics are and who the target group is

You totally misunderstood me. I meant what kind of boards (examples: Spam, General Chat, Site Discussion, etc.). I thought it was pretty obvious.

You were not obvious. Content and Categories are two different thing.

Well, I wouldn't join a web hosting forum for it's movie's catagory, just like if I found a movies forum with a web hosting bit I wouldn't join it for that. If however the movie forum had new releases, old gems, a critics section, etc maybe I'd join it, just like I like to know how to run a web hosting business and read the offers for web hosting on the web hosting forum.

I would like a general chat forum however though.
