Do search engines index .name sites?

I have several .name sites and I just cannot located them by doing searches on Google or Yahoo. Even when I specifically search for "xxx.name", the site just does not come up on the search result. (On Google, it will take you to the site directly like if you are typing it into the address bar on the browser.)

Any idea?

I have seen .name sites indexed. It sounds like Google et al haven't found your sites yet. How old are they and do they have backlinks?

No back link on the site. The site is about 3 months old. If you spot the .name sites that got indexed, please let me know. Thanks.

IMO,there is no any difference in Tlds(.info .net . name .us),google index or rank a site only by backlinks.
