Question

low space/bandiwdth host with own IP

There is planty of oversold host. I need small account (500MB webspace, 5GBbandiwdth/mo) for good price, with 1own IP (and custom revDNS record) to host my billing software. Uptime - 99% and more.

Localisation: any, prefer europe, but USA is ok.
do you know any company, non overselling, with good support and fast servers in reasonable prices?

its very hard to find a host who really dont oversell, if you get 500MB storage and 5 GB transfer with reseller who has only 2GB with 50GB for 50 accounts so thats also overselling.
what is your monthly budget ?

It might be best to try out a host for a month before paying yearly, unless you did your research already.

If you prefer Europe, take a look at unitedhosting.co.uk. From the views on board, they're a very good vendor

UnitedHosting is great, I've had experience with them (hosting UK mirrors of other sites, and they were a great backup solution!)

Agreed. Don't ever make a yearly payment to a host you've never used before. No matter how promising things look from the start, its good to know you have the freedom to back out at any time.

A couple of years ago I had a similar need (low space, low bandwidth, but a good host) and went with crystaltech. I still use them and I've never regretted it.

If you are willing to pay yearly then make sure that the hosting company is offering 30 Day Money back guarantee.

I don't happen to know of any in Europe, although 'clook' might be an option. Be well aware ahead of time that I haven't had personal experience with them.. but their reputation does precede them & for good reason.

Otherwise, if you're looking in the US I'd recommend checking out synhosting.com or steadfast.net
Be very careful though, this is your billing system & I suspect many details will be contained therein. Avoid any host that has displayed questionable ethics.

Best of luck with the hunt.

Me? Yeah, for the domain studenthost.net, before we switched providers. They were fantastic - responsive, cheap, everything you could wish for!

For something that small, I would go with Medialayer, they are well known for superior hosting of small sites.

There are also some other low resource companies...Cartika, Axishost.

For small resources, you can't go wrong with any of those guys.
