This is ridiculous don't trust Health-Ehosting or Sliqua!!!!
Tonight I come to share with you a web host that is a complete disgrace. health-ehosting.com They brand them self as a safe, community, user friendly web host…. But they allow there users to host PORN! How can you allow some one to run a school help website, and post porn! This site is for kids… underage kids, and they allow PORN to be posted here. When I contacted them; they said we understand the problem and have contacted the client, and are making steps to correct the problem but will not delete a client’s account over a situation they have no control over. SOME ONE IS POSTING PORN!!! YOU CAN CONTROL THAT. For there service provider, what a joke…. sliqua.com From threatening me for pointing out the problem and offering no solution but to deal with the same people that turned me away. How can you run a web host like this.

What's wrong with hosting porn?
I don't see anywhere that says it's for kids, looks like a normal hosting layout to me.
Unless they're breaking AUP/TOS, I don't see any reason to shut a site down just because you don't agree with them.semi-retired0

Per their ToS:
ADULT CONTENT
Adult-oriented sites are not allowed to be associated with any Health-Ehosting server. This includes but is not limited to sites, redirects on sites, or links that are associated with nudity, sex, bestiality or child pornography; or sites, redirects, or links which promote hate against any group ("hate groups"). Hosting accounts containing sites, redirects, or links of such nature will be removed immediately and you will not be refunded. This is also true for hosting accounts containing sites, redirects, or links that promote any illegal activity or content that may be damaging to our servers or any other server.

First off, I'm going to re-iterate what I told you in your email to me, we (or any hosting company) cannot be responsible for making sure that our clients follow THEIR Terms of Service. Secondly, our TOS does not forbid clients from posting links to adult content (which is NOT hosting porn, by the way). I don't know what you really expected us to do, but shutting down an entire dedicated server containing many sites (and is leased by a reseller, so the end site is not in their direct control), is ludicrous.
My email contained no threat to you, rather I just put you on notice that if you decided to post on Web Hosting Talk (which inevitably you did) that we reserved the right to post email messages between us.Joe Cooter - <jcooter(at)sliqua.com>

For the record, here are the email messages he sent and our responses:
HIS MESSAGE
---------------
This email is to inform you of adult content being hosted on your network.
The ip addresses of this so called healthy hosting company host porn. We
offer the real Healthy Hosting, nice fruit alternative.
This is a copy of there tos they don't uphold.
"ADULT CONTENT

This is reckless behavior on your part for allowing such careless people to
use your network. I will see you on web hosting talk!

OUR FIRST RESPONSE
------------------
First off, thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
I have been in contact with the client in question, and he has assured me he is
taking the appropriate steps to address the situation.
As you probably understand, we are not responsible for forcing our clients to
adhere to their Terms of Service. Nor is it expressely against OUR terms of
service to link to adult material, although we do generally prohibit the
hosting of adult material. Due to the circumstances of this being a public
forum, as well as a relatively short time from the initial complaint. My
advice to you is to co-operate with Drew Wofford of Health-Ehosting to get a
resolution to your problem.
As for your "threat" to go to Web Hosting Talk, you are of course
allowed to do so. However, if you decide to do so I and representatives of
Sliqua Enterprise Hosting reserve the right to post any and/or all emails you
have sent to us in order to show the entire story.

SECOND RESPONSE
---------------
Just a quick update to this abuse report, the client has removed the spammed
adult content from their forums.
Regards,

If it's a forum, there's really not stopping a random person from posting massive amounts of img tags.

Hi there,
I am sorry you have a problem with the way I run my hosting company. The content you are referring to was posted on a message board that one of my clients run. This board is intended to allow high school students a resource to connect with other high school students for home work help. Due to the summer there is no school and the board was unsupervised. At this time a spammer solicited an adult web site. As soon as I was notified I promptly alerted the client and offered to help remove the content. I see no reason to close a client’s account when they had no control over the content being posted and they are removing the content. Again I do apologize if you were offended but I treat my clients as humans and when some one has a problem with one of there sites I don’t rush to judgment.
Have a good night,
Drew Wofford

That's what True Green is upset about? A forum that was hit by an automated SPAM bot? Yeesh, with all the child porn and other horrendous stuff out there you'd think folks would focus on the real bad stuff out there.
Looks like I have another host not to ever use, and it isn't sliqua.com or Health-Ehosting .If you have to operate your company behind the scenes or under a fake name, maybe it's time to leave the industry and start something fresh.0

You need to talk with the person who runs and manages the school web site. I'm sure that once they know about the problem, they will remove it.

First off, this forum prohibits self advertising - and I'm sure your post qualifies. Secondly, if you would kindly provide me a link to any forums running on your servers, I would be glad to post adult materials and see how YOU handle the situation better. Is it just me, or does this seem like a self-promotion scheme?
EDIT: And I'm sure I don't understand how a "healthy green web host" (whatever that even means) should be run, but how does this effect anything about the situation at hand?
EDIT #2: you don't seem to understand the difference between "hosting" porn and "some random person/spam bot posting links to" porn. You see, hosting constitutes the subject matter residing on the server, which both Sliqua and Health-Ehosting prohibit, but you cannot reasonably expect either of us to take down an entire site (or server hosting multiple sites!) because someone spammed a forum.Last edited by jcooter-sliqua; 07-15-2007 at 11:52 PM.
