Complete Newbie question - Multiple domains

Ok... i am still trying to get a handle on this hosting biz... doing some research on my own while my friend is setting up his stuff...

here we go... when using WHM/CPANEL... do you need an IP adress for each new domain that you want to host? I don't think so? Can't you somehow host multiple domains on the same IP adress and just use DNS to point to a folder...

let me know

Thanx...

Yup, you can use a single IP for as many sites as you like. When creating the account from WHM, just leave the "IP" box unchecked, and the IP dropdown menu left on "auto-assign"
