I dont htink it was apropriate to mass email out adverts to sign up for your new webhosting directory, LIKE THERE ARENT ENOUGH OUT THERE... Just for sending me a unsolicited email I wont put our company in there or even look at your site..

I'm surprised to hear your attitude...
We emailed only web hosting companies, we offered free promotion, and we received a great response!

I'm not going to beg you to add your company to our db..

The proper thing to do would have been to post for anybody to email you if they were int. and to post it in the advertising forum, its not that big of a deal, you did only send one to me. My problem is:

1. You obtained my email address and others from this board, had I known I would recieve advertisements from being a part of the board I would have never signed up.

2. You may not think its a big deal to send out 1 thing to me, but see it from my side, I recieve litterly like 30 junk emails like yours a day, I did not request information from you or then....

Your fact about only sending them to webhositng companys, WHO CARES, did we ask you for that information?????

If you would read the forum rules you would see rule #1:
1. Advertisements and self-promotions are not allowed in any shape or form! (except in the Advertisement Forum).

Anyways I know im being sticky, but anyone else or recieved hundreds of ads in their mailbox a week will equally understand.

I didn't offer you any advertising opportunity... just an option to add you company to our DB, so YOU will get new customers period.

Thats NOT the point. We could care less what you offered. Its the fact that you sent him something he didn't ask for. Your probabbly a new site anyhow so why would anyone use your site anyway.

Go get an attitude check and quit sending out Unsolocited Commercial Emails (UCE)

Look, I don't really know what you want from me and why are yopu attacking me, I offered my help, you don't need it say no thank you and walk away, why do you have to make such a big issue about it? we have over 300 hosts who registered already, and we are getting a lot of thank you letters from the big companies as well.

This is my final post on the subject, I hope you do great by the way, and im not here to attack, your just missing the point, If I went and got email address's off this board and mass emailed them with a ad people would be pissed, its no different from you even though your offering a free service, im simply trying to explain netiquite, your new to the boards, so im sure it was a mistake. We dont want to attack you we just dont want 30 emails everyday adv. something we never had a int. in Good luck...
