Almost all the reviews I've seen for them are negative.

Avoid, we're still waiting for a refund nearly 2 months on. Even after following it up with their management.

We had a bad VPS, cloned from another with all the original data in tact.

As allways I test a new provider for nearly 3 month.
Surfspeedy has a lot of disk space, four day after creating my account, when I use nearly 10% I receive a mail that I have too much disk used and the TOS doesnt admit it.

I read the TOS and nothing say about the disk space (simple search using "disk"), but the include an external link to the TOS.

15 minutes after the original mail I ask a question to support (about disk use) and before the answer arrive (nearly half an hour) all my data was lost and my account deleted.

Off course it wasnt important data, but they didnt know that. I also try to contact support and sale, but nothing. Also claim money-back and nothing, I insist for two month and nothing.

very very very very very very bad Hosting company in the internet...

i lost my 250 $. i paid for 1 year contract with them before and they said my website ( forum) is against their TOS. my forum is a community forum and there is nothing negative. they said they got lot of abuse reports bla bla bla. and they suspended the account and they didn't allow me to take a back up also. it's a real nightmare and Don't Use SurfSpeedy Anymore...

Several months ago, I tried to get a SurfSpeedy account. But their weird signup procedure sent an autodialed identity verification number... meanwhile saying "must not close this web connection!!" Which I could not do both because I use dialup... I mean, weird, weird. So I sent them an email and meanwhile decided to do a search here... So I was saved. SurfSpeedy has such a slick website, looks like a first class place but who would think? Well maybe it's owned by some zillionaire who knows nada about webhosting and just buys these auto gadgets and low paid employees? Anyway, thank you to the founders of WHT for this open discussion forum, and to all the members like Brox who participate.

WOW. that was my first VPS host... NEVER AGAIN. Two months and I was out the door. Slow, bad support, rude staff, downtimes, everything.

Interesting, I've been a shared hosting customer there going on 2 years. Accept for one maintance gone wrong and my account being changed i've been doing pretty descent with them.
