For Sale - Established shared hosting company
The past, nearly 6 years have been a great experience, although it is now time for me to move onto other ventures. I have for sale an established web site hosting company (shared hosting), with approximately 550 accounts, and in the last fiscal period bringing in $50,843.21 USD, with a monthly average volume of $4,236.93 USD. The profit margin is 50% (does not include my salary) due to the efficient set-up and design of our operations. Note that approximately 200 of the clients are utilizing Tomcat Java, I am however willing to sell the 350 (approximately) non-Tomcat clients separately if preferred.
We have a number of domains, although the primary domain alone is appraised at $20,000-$37,000 (multiple sources) due to its easy to remember two-word name, and established search engine placing.
All of our seven servers are rented from Ev1Servers, now ThePlanet, so transferring them, and migrating clients should be relatively easy. We have a domain reseller account with ResellOne, and use ModernBill v4 as our CRM (monthly license), for support we use Kayako eSupport (owned license). The majority of our customers are on Ensim servers, although we have some now on Plesk. We primarily offer Linux shared hosting, but also Windows, and our most popular plan costs $7 per month.
If you prefer to migrate to a new platform or servers then I can assist you with such a project, as I do have a fair bit of experience with that. I primarily run the company myself, although have one person who helps part time with technical support. For maintenance of the company approximately 2-3 hours of work is required per day. Most of the operations are fully automated through tight integration of ModernBill, eSupport, and the control panel software.
I am willing to sell the clients only, if it is not the entire business that you are interested in, it is however important that the clients continue to receive good service and care. I want this transition to be considered as an upgrade/improvement for the clients, and not a downgrade or disappointment.
Please serious offers only, an NDA agreement must be signed prior to further discussions. I am looking to complete this deal in a timely manner, preferably by August 1st, and I am willing to sell for considerably less to someone that can work with me to complete the deal by the desired deadline.

As 80% of our staff are JCP/Sun certified, we can take the Tomcat clients and give them Enterprise-class service. We are also a Sun Partner and have full access to Sun Engineers for all trouble shooting issues. Email me at karl @ utropicmedia.com and we can get this deal done and your clients taken care of.
Also, we would be happy to work with another provider that wishes to take the other non-java clients. We have boxes at The Planet so migration will be smooth.
Kind Regards,

Customers pay primarily by credit card, we accept Visa and MasterCard through our merchant account. We also accept PayPal as a secondary payment method.
I do not personally have experience with DirectAdmin, although you may migrate the clients to a new control panel following closure of a sale.
Let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.
