IP cam Recording

Any IP cam device can record and send footage/data to a server for security/keepsake? are there any scripts as well?

Most of the cctv's do. We have one which stores the snaps on a different file server. We just mapped that remote drive to a local one and then pointed the destination to it. It worked. I do not see why it wouldn't work.

Most cam-capture software allow you to upload snapshots to remote FTP servers for storage/backup.

I have a Linksys IP Camera in the datacenter, and that manages to upload to any server you program in. That happens to be one on the LAN, but it can be anywhere.

We've used the AXIS stuff quite a lot and that does a pretty good job of recording several live streams.
