NationalNet Experiences/Opinions?
I am considering hosting a dedicated server or two with NationalNet.com. I have two questions:
1) Does anybody have any knowledge of what hosting with NationalNet is like? Are they a good host?
2) I am aware NationalNet hosts a lot of adult sites, but my sites are not adult related in any way. Is there any likely problem with a non-adult site being hosted on a network that is (I have read) about 70% adult content sites?

Question is: Do you want your site associated with a host that is known for its adult hosting?

It's a computer games related content site. The visitors aren't going to start doing host lookups, and even if a few of them do, I can't see it having any consequence.
I was more concerned about something of a technical nature.

You are the one that mentioned it in your post. Must have had some concern? Whats the old saying? One is judged by the company one keeps?

thanks for your concern for my reputation.
My thinking was more that maybe the network might be likely to suffer an unusually high number of DOS attacks or something like that... some practical downside.
I'd also love to hear the experience of anyone who has hosted with NationalNet.

NationalNet has a VERY good reputation with webmasters who run adult websites.
They've got a great network and probably are not DOS attacked any worse than any other host.
Adult webmasters depend on speed and reliability when it comes to their hosting. They don't mess around because their livelihoods depend on their websites.
You won't be disappointed by NationalNet. I would suggest doing a Google or Yahoo search on them and you should see quite a few positive reviews on different sites.

Nat net support is great you can get a tech on the phone 24/7 that has access to your server and fix most things very quickly.
And if your worried about adult content on the network then you wont be able to host at most places very few places wont host adult content.

It's one thing for a company to happen to have adult (I"m sure we all do, it's the nature of the business) but it's another to be a company that actively exhibits at Adult trade shows, advertises on Adult Message boards like www.go****yourself.com and other industry trade publications. They are also home to consumptionjunction and other "shock" sites.

No host just "happens" to have adult. You either allow it or you don't, plain and simple.
Like Sandman said, each to their own, but I don't understand what the big deal is.
The op said that adult content didn't bother him, he was more concerned about their network and support.
Go with NatNet, you won't be disappointed.
