How much disk space per POP account ?

On average, how much disk space is using a single POP account on your servers ?

Most users constantly download and check their email which sets their mailboxes very low. There are a few though who either only use webmail or elect to leave copies of their email on the server forever. That brings up the average considerably since some mailboxes are hundreds of megs in size with support eventually having to nudge them with a "please clean out your mailbox, you're out of space" request.

    Sincerely,

    -Matt

    idea on that subject

I was thinking if it is possible,or if it the cpanel already does this, to not limit the size of the pop accounts but have it use the same space as the alloted disk space for the account. i dont know if that is possible or not

On CPanel servers, all email accounts are created in /home/accountname/mail so the size of all POP accounts are limited by the free diskspace the user has.
