cPanel 11 / WHM

What does everyone think of the new cPanel 11 and what do your clients have to say about it?

Will let you know in a week. We're upgrading in the next few days. Looks good from the few servers we have running Cpanel 11.

Nothing really wrong with it as we have it on a few servers and it seems to be working fine...

Seems to work great, having a bit of a learning curve with theme modifications. There are a lot of neat things ready to popup or display that I haven't seen before.

I like the new WHM Theme way better than the old X. CSS ... is nice, real nice. No more weird empty blank spots for disabled features for resellers!

We are right with you Bob. I think it's mellowed in production long enough.

We had it on a development server before it made it to the RELEASE branch. My only concern is the various rumblings at the cPanel forums, though surprisingly nothing major.

Also just as an FYI. The rumors are flying again about the windows version being actively developed....

Regards,

I did see on their employment page that they were seeking a C# and asp.net developer.... let the rumor mongering begin

Probably will be a tad slower with the AJAX but shouldn't be enough to detour from the improvement on usability (less clicks) etc. I can't wait to see whats in the future for these guys. cPanel has a team of professionals that, I am sure, are going to be knocking out some pretty amazing things in the coming months / year.

I must be drinking the ajax kool aide because I think the overall feel is faster. Both in WHM and in cPanel.

TonyB,

That is what I usually do. I like to sit back and let everyone else work out the details of "stable" releases. At least releases as large as cPanel 11.
