My new laptop!

Well, I know I said I was going to get a Lenovo, but I decided that I couldn't wait 3-4 weeks for the back ordered parts to come in. I also wanted to go the cheaper route so I could spend the extra money on frivolous things like food, shelter, and textbooks. I decided to pick up an HP dv9339us laptop. I ended up paying about $1450 after tax (I should have just ordered it online...)

The specs are as follows:

Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz
2GB RAM
200GB 5400RPM
17" Widescreen
nVidia GeForce Go 7600
Built-in 1.3megapixel webcam
Windows® Vista Home Premium

So whatcha think? Ripped off? I really think the processor would be a little faster, but other than that it's a pretty nice machine.

Sounds about right, since taxes are included...

Why would you ask if you were ripped off? Really, next week the price could go down $100, so the price you got today is the price of the product... if you are happy with it, there is no rip.

You might have saved a little if you would have waited until July 4th weekend... but no biggie.

That would be a pretty neat deal in the UK.

Electrical hardware is so damn expensive here.
