Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when comparing Complex Drive to other colocation facilities:
Cooling & Fire Suppression: We are one of the few facilities here in Southern California to utilize both raised floor cooling systems, and non water based fire suppression. The advantage to raised floor cooling is that regardless of the density of your equipment, or the number of other colocation customers near your cabinet, you will always receive conditioned, cool air right to the intake area of your cabinet. The advantage to our gas based fire suppression is that even in the event of a fire, Complex Drive will be able to quickly suppress the fire and return to normal operation, without the damaging affects of a water based sprinkler system. Water and servers don't mix!
Power & Connectivity Protection: All cabling, wiring, and power distribution are done under the raised flooring. Unlike many other datacenters who utilize overhead cabling, other customers within our facility do not have access to your Ethernet or power cabling.
Bandwidth Billing: Complex Drive utilizes Average Bandwidth billing. We DO NOT use 95th percentile billing. Average billing allows our customers to have both high and low spikes in their bandwidth, without the fear of large overage charges.
Ownership / Not Leasing: Complex Drive owns all of the facilities from which we operate. We do not lease space within another datacenter, nor do we lease the building our datacenter is located within. We own each and every one of our facilities outright.
