Fused Network Design Overhaul!
I recently decided it was in dire need of a change. The previous design was great but simply not putting the message across that I wanted displayed.
The new site is (in my opinion) much cleaner with information that's readily accessible.
I'm still very actively tweaking:
1. Colors on sub-pages
2. Adding 'sub-pages' headings
3. Changing the 'About us' entries on the pages to the proper titles, lacking photoshop at the moment
Overall the site is definitely cleaner though and I was looking for some feedback on the 'overall' design, not necessarily each little aspect of it just yet as it's not entirely finalized.
Here's a link below:
Fused Network
And now please unleash a torrent of feedback

And just to add..
With the new design I think 'content' is much more easily displayed. The previous one limited my ability to launch sales on the frontpage & I was stuck using forums and other methods.
The new one's frontpage is nearly 'billboard' like in that I have two excellent spots on the frontpage to switchup/modify at my every whim to assist the spreading of information.
Overall it should work much better to increase brand awareness.
Now if I could just get that pesky bastard who owns fusednetworks...

my only complaint is that the graphics are huge, It looks ok on my monitor but I would assume people running a smaller resolution would have a good portion of the pages cut off.
It looks Really good but the big boxes kind of put me off.

Admittedly I hadn't even tested the site in any resolutions lower than 800x600. Does it get cut off that much?
I'll run a few more checks. That's a valid point.

http://www.fusednetwork.com/images/home_adv_001.jpg is 310 x 250
Put them side by side with a little spacing in between and I think your cutting off 800x600 as well..

You want my opinion?
Sure you do. I personally think the new site design feels allot smoother and gives the point out to the customer. The two images both of the members above posted, those are some fairly huge images and a little too big if you ask me, I would suggest you make it a little smaller then again it doesn't look too bad how it is, but maybe make it a little more exiting and less host normal (Do you know how much hosts have something like that, hosting plans less than $9.95 a month! -- then a list of features under it) .. boring! How much making a special offer and posting it up their? Ooo, now that is what customers want to see! Special offers!! Something that will exite them and not look like your every day web host, same shat. Other then that, I have say to navigate your site is allot easier and to read things is allot better and clearer.
Its a really good design though, near the bottom I kinda felt like I was at layeredtech their for a minuet because it looked so similar compared to their (old old design)

Frimon,
Thanks for the feedback. Trust me when I say that 'setting myself apart' from the industry won't be too hard once I have my new design in place
As far as specials go I rarely have any and aren't interested in selling the packages I do have any cheaper than they're set at. So unless I was to arrange a 'perpetual' discount like some other providers out there...
So far though I can see that reducing the size of the images is on the top of things to do.

David,
Love the new design. I think the others are right on the size issue, but other than that - you have done a great job in updating your previous design. The content is easily readable and presented in a professional manner. Very nice.

And I already loved your old design! This looks very sharp, at least in Firefox 2.0.0.3. In IE6 you're suffering from the double padding bug.
Add display: inline to each floated division to stop this annoying bug and display your site correct in IE6. Love the design man!

Amy,
I appreciate the feedback. There's a number of ones with display: inline; already, do you notice any specific ones that are getting out of place?
I'm unable to reproduce it at this time.

Yeah, as I said before The floated elements and those are exactly the elements that have not been given the 'display: inline'
#f_content_body_left
#f_content_body_right
add display: inline to those and it should be fine!
