I wouldnt suggest gameservers.com. They have become so huge i heard their QoS is really suffering. I would aim for a smaller company. Beware though of microGSPs, which are usually kiddies running a GSP on one server without supporting their product or delivering real quality.

I recommend checking out defconservers.com. The owner, Rich, is a regular on these forums, and is a veteran of the industry.

gameservers.com is good but this probably isn't the best place to ask. I would look for a more gaming oriented forum to ask about this sort of thing.

gameservers.com is on a nice network, but yes I don't disagree with you.

www.hd-gaming.com also a frequent poster here on WHT. They look quite good.

Definately stay away from gameservers.com - they have a horrible reputation.

I would recommend that you find a GSP that interests you and ask for a test server, you can never go wrong that way

I'll throw wolfservers.com out there, a bit cheaper than clanservers and much cheaper than HD-Gaming (Which is geared towards league clans)

What features are important to you?

Do you need a easy to use panel? Do you need support setting up and installing mods etc? OR are you just looking for a basic server on good bandwidth? What location are you looking for? Maybe a bit more information will let us assist you better.

Also be SURE to make ANY GSP you go with prove they are a real company, lots of "fly by nighters" out there will rip you off.

Gameservers.com is quite a large company, and so far I have had nothing but bad experiences.

I have had 3 Counter Strike servers there, and we experience constant ping spikes.

Also, due to being such a large company I notice there is no personal feel to it, which is important to me, and I have had trouble with support, they answer the tickets, but it always seems it has to be assigned to someone higher up to answer it, which turns out to take even longer.

Just my opinion, I would go for a smaller more personal company.

Hope this helps you out.

Unless you guys have or had a service with the companies you promote I would stick to letting others answer. Whether you are here representing your GSP or other interests is irrelevant.
