watch out for spiralhost!

I have used spiralhost as a reseller for 3-4 years, and used to be quite satisfied with the service. However recently the problems are mounting, and i cant get out fast enough!

This is just a warning to anyone thinking about signing up for a hosting account with spiralhost.com.

Reasons:
Lousy customer service - only a ticket system where you will have to wait between 2-24 hours for an answer.
Once you get an answer it is typically a non-answer as it seems they only read the title and send you a canned response.

Examples:
1) i had a client who was a musician and had not noticed that they require prior permission before uploading (legal) mp3 content. My client was forced to change host since they shut his website down because he had put up some of his music!
- the tone was neither reasonable nor polite, no possibility of restoring the website!

2) another client had not noticed the 500 emails per day limit and had sent out a newsletter to 5000 registered users. Againg the site was shut down and no reconciliation possible.

3) in the process of moving away from spiralhost to a better host, i had requested an account closed at the end of the payment cylcle. I was told it would be shut down on a certain date - but then it was shut down several days earlier while i was in the middle of moving out! - contact to support only revealed their total lack of interest in customer service... i am still sending tickets to try and get the matter sorted out and retrieve the last data.

I am writing this partly to get it off my mind but also as a warning to others, since they don't have a "responsible" contact person i can send it to.
