Cpanel problems loading

I can't get to cpanel.net, there seems to be a problem at burst. Anyways, We had to give one of our cpanel servers a reboot and when it came up, we can no longer log into cpanel, it comes up with a blank page. Also, when loged into whm, it does not show the version number for cpanel. I can't seem to get a hold of our distributor at all, anyone know whats up with this?

Burst had/is having some network problems right now and from what I understand at least some of the CPanel licencing servers are down because of this. This means your CPanel might not work until they get those servers back online. I personnally think Burst should take better steps to make sure those CPanel licencing servers stay online nomatter what, but apparently they haven't

Your license should remain intact on your cpanel server until it is scheduled to be updated with a new lisc key (every night).... now, the exact time varies per server, of course. But, even if the cpanel license server is severed from the internet as a whole for an hour or two, it doesn't mean all machines in the galaxy are doomed.

It's not quite as bad as how you have described it, but I do agree some contingency plan should be in place to guard against a future event that could include even greater downtime- mistakes happen, that's a given.
