How Do Angelfire Implant Their Ads?

Does anybody know how hosting sites like Angelfire implant a banner at the top of their webpages?

By not allowing your customers to utilize any server side scripting capabilities you can put anything you want on their pages.

One option would also be mod_layout with apache.
Works like a charm

If you want a similar solution look at ipanel. They do forced ad's fairly reliably.

You can use mod_layout but as NixMaster says, it is limited.

Depending on how your customers upload their content, you can include code yourself to display the ads automatically.
