Free WHM tools

I have been asked a lot about this and therefore here it goes:

Newbie webhosts, resellers or even dedicated server resellers suffer from the same desease: No money
But still, not beeing organzied is not an option. Therefore most people think of their Excel and/or Acces from their MS-Office (that they have downloaded from some -=blahblahzzzZ=- site LOL).

"But where to start. I don't know Excel/Access! And also I have no experience and therefore don't even know what I need" says the Newbie...

Well help is here. I made an excel sheet for new webhosts and an Access DB for either webhosts or resellers. Have fun!

Get it here !

Love,
Robert

Nice
Only I cannot open the DB in access - says Unrecognized DB format
Using the English access 97 - I've got 2000 on another PC, it might work there, although I haven't checked it yet

Wow! Great files there. I'm gonna play around with this and see if I can do my database now

I just place my customer database in a basic Access table, but this will make the bookkeeping ever better!

It's probably a 2000 DB as I can open it here with Access 2000 and Access files are not backwards compatible.

I've just taken a look at both files and it looks very good, I'm sure many new web hosts will find it useful... but strictly speaking, if they didn't have any money to even spend on a programmer or 'off the shelf' software such as ModernBill or PerlBill, then they're not really serious about their business as they don't even have any cash to invest into it.

Im a happy perlbill user. But i have some suggestions for that spreadsheet.

A special finantial report on the main page where you can put:

Server Costs
Total Monthly income
Total Quarterly income
Total Bi-yearly income
Total yearly income

Net profit

Also a nice "search engine" to find an specific customer!

I dont understand how a real "web host" would not know how to use excel or access. If the "web host" was for real surely he or she would know how to really use the computer... I think excel/access are really easy to use. The basics of computing
