Nevidia Hosting isn't good!!!! - NO MORE FOR ME!

I did a post sometime ago about the above hosting site complaining about the level of service. Things improved relatively but in the past 3 months, i must say its been very pathetic.

The company had some problems with my credit card for one reason or the other even though i have never had any issue with the card. They even claimed to send me emails to that effect which I never received. To lay the matter to rest since the site is very critical to my business, I gave them a new credit card, which they charged promptly (WITH NO PROBLEM!!!) in addition to a reativation fee.

Fast track to 2 months later (today):

I suddenly noticed one of my sites was down again!!! Fuming now, I called the company only to be told that they had another problem with the same credit card (I HAVE HUGE LIMITS ON THE CARD and ITS ONLY USED FOR WEB TRANSACTIONS). I was really livid as there was no email or anything whatsoever to indicate that they had any problem even though they claimed to have sent numerous mails. I have my junk email set to allow mails from nevidia, and there is even no such mail in my junk email folder and still have history of mails up to 2 years ago !!!

I truly believe there is something wrong with their system and their automail generator but would not admit to this.

I have lived with lost emails, lost folders, downtime!!! They dont even offer enough space and bandwidth as other hosting company's but I still chose to stay with them.

I believe i have enough of nonsense from this hosting company who would not accept a fact that maybe something is wrong within.

BYE Bye Nevidia. you just lost my business and 20 other sites I am hosting with you!!!!

I'm sorry to hear your bad experience.

Do they e-mail you first before taking down your account ?

Just a thought but maybe its possible they dont have a correct email on file for you. Things like that have been known to happen, but looks like they could have verified that info via your telephone call.
Hate to see things go sour with long term clients.

That was what I thought also, until i went to the control panel and i can confirm the email on file is very correct. I created a ticket when i noticed the site was down and a copy of the ticket was received in my inbox (NOT junk email or any spam folder). I also have the correct phone number on file. If it is actually true that they did send several emails, then this confirms that something is wrong with their autoemail generator engine but the moron i was speaking to would not even accept or look into this!

I still insist there is nothing wrong with my credit card, i have used the same credit card on other sites and I have way more than enough limit to cover for over 100 sites. Now I dont doubt the credit card company may goof, however, i did not receieve a single email from them. If this has not happened before i would have taken it as a one-off thing but its one goof too many since I have been with them.

Sometimes moving on is the only option left. The scenario seems to be repeating (trouble charging your card, no email notice), and with no solution in sight, there's no guarantee that a few months from now you'll be in the same situation.

Hopefully you won't have any such issues with your future host. I'd ask the bank if they can figure out what happened, why these transactions have failed.

Sorry to hear about your repeated troubles with your current host. I hope that you won't have to deal with these issues at your new host.

Sounds like you've seriously had enough.

As other forum members have said just move host if it's this bad

It's an headache you don't need and the fees on top of it all is just adding more cost (losses too you).

It's a pain moving from one provider to another but, the rewards will pay off in the short/medium/long run.

Thanks. I even called the credit card company to find out and they dont see any reason why it was declined! So over to NEVIDIA!
I hope they have another excuse. The annoying thing is even the attitude of the support/billing staff. I would have been ok if they would just listen and check out their internal system and find out if their feedback emails are actually getting to the clients. I only wish there is someone from Nevidia on here who can get the bottom of this. Its really frustrating talking to some of the rookies.

Boy I am pissed!!! and it takes a lot to get me to the stage!
