No, they leave you on the moon - you have to find your way back down.. Typical *****

I don't understand what all the strange reactions are in this thread. It's pretty straightforward, really. It only costs the unnamed host $13,000.00 to provide the trip into space aboard the Russian MIG.

lol, Russian MIG, don't give other too many ideas - you'll see these offers start popping up...

  16. #16
Actually, more accurately its a trip to the "edge of space" not into space. You're really only going to a bit under 90,000 feet in the MiG. People who take the $13,000 trip have to provide a medical release from their doctor stating that they're fit enough to ride a MiG that high.

A zero-G ride is cheaper at only $5,400 -- if that's what you're interested in.

Maybe they're going to offer unlimited space travel with no fuel caps or resource restrictions whatsoever. I always did want to take a rocket ship past Pluto to see what's out there. And now it'll be mine! MINE! ALL MINE! *evil laugh*

Yeah, and they do choose their words carefully, saying they'll take you "to space," not "into space."

When they say the "edge of space" I think they're just flying you up high enough into the atmosphere so that there is no gravity... so it's like being in space. I heard that some places were doing that. And I don't think it's millions of dollars either...

This thread has not entirely been wasted

I'll be cranking over the ol' Sopwith Camel tomorrow to take the lucky winners on a camp out on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. Lot of Space out there

Should only cost $13 for fuel plus tucker!!

When all else has failed - you've failed!
