I have perldesk installed fine. It works from sending in an email request... it sends out the response from the techs from [email protected]
however,, when using a formmail page to make sure they supply needed info, it sends tech replies to back to the customer with a address of [email protected] instead of the email address that can be replied to at the support desk...
This is a cpanel server it is on. running suexec which is why it isn't sending from nobody@
Has anyone came accross this before, and were you able to get a form mail form to go to the support desk address, and get tickets replied to from the helpdesk email addy ?
username@ simply will not due.
And I won't force my customers to log in and make a username and pass to use the supplied form within the script.
the form goes to [email protected] ,, that is picked up by the perldesk.. then put into its catagory.
Each form should go to a different area, and is seperated by the perldesk just fine.. but when using a form to send so the customers put the info needed,, it doesn't parse the emails back to the client with the perldesk support address.... it sends from [email protected].
I would like to have it handle multiple companies like it is set up, also, so we can do anonomous support for our resellers too, and it won't parse the email right if a form is used.
it makes no sense...
The script sends out as support@ if we email in tests, but when a form is used with the same info, it is handled like any other cpanel servers script :-(
The customers can't reply to username@...
If I did set that up,, then all the trash junk email that went to the catch all would go into the support system too.
