slightly odd hosting search

Hello, I've been looking around for hosts, but couldn't find a good match, and a friend sent me here. I've got a few different requirements for a host.

-shell access (mainly irc)
-imap mail account
-not in america (europe, germany area would be nice)
-i would like to be paying somewhere between 2usd and 15usd per month
-python (not required, but nice)

this would be mainly a dedicated mail account that might get occaisonal shell usage. also, i don't really care about scripting, php, mysql, etc, but i wouldnt mind python.

thanks for your time

Python supported hostings:
They are all Python hosts. Enter "SSH" in browser's Find to see who else support it.

Examples:
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=593268

http://www.hostsharing.net/ has Python, SSH and is located in Germany. Alertra.com shows it maybe isn't the fastest...

Google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...sh+irc+hosting

Fastest servers in Europe (according to Hotingspeeds). They are mostly located in Benelux.

All this is only to get idea what exists.

pyton was just on the nice to have list. i looked at the sites, but they all seem quite over the top for large python web-apps.

i have been googling, but i dont know enough german/dutch/french to make a good query. its also hard to find reviews for quite a few of the sites i dig up.

hostsharing.net looks nice, but a bit expensive. does allowing people shell access jack up the costs?

Thanks for your help
