I am planning to colocate two of my Mac Mini servers with CIHost.Has anybody used them previously?Could you please give me further details on their service?

Hi, thanks for passing the info. I have gone through some of the feedbacks. I am a newbie at this forum. I am planning to colocate two of my MacMini servers in the U.S.(each measuring upto 2U). Ours is a higly bandwidth consuming work. hence, afetr much research I found that CIHost and Superbhosting.net are the two providers of large bandwidth at low costs. But since CIHost has such not so good reputation, I have decided not to go for that. Does anyone have any info about Superbhosting.net?

Superb Internet Corporation is a very reputable and reliable
company, IMHO. I used them for a couple of years, a few years ago,
for shared hosting and NEVER had any problems. Their operations

Lots of people have colo'd with CIHost... whether that was a positive experience is for you to decide when you review the feedback and posts.

You do get what you pay for.

If those servers aren't important to you and you don't mind getting them stolen, go for it... Here in Chicago I've heard of at least two cases of customer equipment just getting stolen, with CIHost taking no responsibility and giving no compensation.

There are several other colo providers out there that are reputable. Do you have a need for the colo in Chicago?

PS: CI Host has other markets other than Chicago (seems you're assuming Chicago). They are also in Dallas, LA and other cities.

I would prefer the colo to be near San Jose,California. Could you give me info on reputed companies which provide colo services there?

I've been in discussions with one local to me in San Antonio that is of interest. Other than that, I have no first hand experience with any of them over there in CA.
