Best Billing/Support/WHM Account Creation Script?
What do you feel is the best on out there? I can get clientexec for $5 monthly.

You must decide it by yourself. Try the demos and look at the features of all billing softwares. So you can choose one as your needs.

This should be in the other forum, but... I agree with dhcart. I tried clientexec, Modernbill, and finally ended up with WHMCS. I love WHMCS, others perfer MB. There's no "best", atleast not yet.
BTW, Modernbill is slow.

In my opinion:
Best billing + Auto-account creation: WHM Autopilot
Support: Kayako SupportSuite

I'd say if your looking for the best overall script, it's WHMCS.
If you don't mind purchasing idevaffiliate and esupport as well, modernbill is a very nice solution

We are using www.awbs.com and it's very good.
The template system is difficult to work around... but once you figure it out, it's very powerful.
It really depends on your requirements. Do you want to support multiple control panels? Multiple domain registrars? Built-in helpdesk?
I recommend doing the trial for each billing system and you'll quickly see which one you like best and meets your needs.

Different Strokes (Software) for Different Folks (Companies)?
All the software mentioned above is really nice. In my opinion, ModernBill is not for everyone, as WHMAutoPilot is not powerful enough for some. One of our clients selected WHMAutoPilot over all, and is extremely happy and comfortable in using that. Another client opted to go with Modernbill as this particular client saw the features as satisfying their future functionality requirements.
I would agree with dhcart, the best choice will be to try-out the demos and go with the one that best fit your requirements and level of comfort.
Good luck!
Respectfully,

WHMAP for sure. I've tried WHMCS when it first came out, seemed limited and amateurish to me at the time. I reckon many people are pulled to it by its light blue look, which I personally don't think looks good at all.

Your going to here an answer for every billing system on the market. And every single person who answers is going to say the solution they use is the best.
But, as someone put it, what is best for them may not be best for you.
When looking at a billing system though you have to consider "ALL" areas.
We choose ModernBill because of the products it supports, features, ability to easily integrate with our accounting software, and more.
But it may not be right for you. Until you try the demos then use a product you probably won't be sure.

I definitely vote for WHMCS. It has everything rolled into one (which I like) and has been expanding to include more options. It's very easy to use, easy to set up and if you need support Matt is VERY fast to respond.

I have tried ClientEXEC, WHM Autopilot, Modernbill, and WHMCS. I used to think modernbill was cool but it was lacking what i wanted. WHM Autopilot is cool but doesn't have some of the features i wanted to have such as being able to change passwords or terminate accounts. ClientEXEC is cool and all but for some reason i didn't like it.
I was stuck on the thought that WHM autopilot and modernbill were always the best for a while until i tried WHMCS. It is by far the best panel i have ever seen or used before and would recommend it for you.

I just started my company, and I am using clientexec. But after reading the features from the competing software, I intend on switching in the future.
