Most probably you won't get an appropriate reply for this one if you mean the cart provided by ccavenue, as I don't think lot of people may have used it.
One point that you must consider is that you should go with a third party cart system, who knows tomorrow you want to switch from ccavenue, a third party system will be supporting many other payment gateways.
Like you can have a look at
http://www.ebs.in that is from UTI Bank directly, or you can get payseal from ICICI bank.
Using a third party cart will also provide you the facility of having multiple CC processors (maybe you would like to offer ccavenue+paypal+direct bank transfer or something like that).
And yes FYI Paypal supports Indian accounts (you need to have a valid credit card) and had also started sending you your money via cheque.
