Multiple Image???
My server has been down for a week now atleast. The website www.multipleimage.com does not load. Been emailing support, get no response. I am being totally ignored. This is the 2nd major down time I've had with them. The last one lasted 20+ days.
Is anyone else's server down..? My server was on the 64.200

Yes.
It is getting very annoying, I didn't have a lot of important things on the server, but that does not justify this ridiculous downtime.
Tim does not answer my icq messages.

It was terrible
We had to get all new ips too. I mean I often wonder, HOW did multipleimage manage to still keep customers ?? keeping them down for 20+ days
thats horrible

yes
still down
Even when it was up, it takes 24 hours just to reboot my server.
I'm not really that stressed about it, because nothing real important was on there, but still, it just upsets me that I have no access to it what so ever.
I'm still counting the days of downtime, still going.

Ehh...
Through their whois info I get the name Timothy Embler in AZ.... I can't find anyone named Embler in the state of AZ.... Don't truely know what that means. Sometimes the online phone books can be out of date but, you never know.
The good thing is that the 795 exchange in the 520 area code really does goto east Tucson so that might be a valid phone number if it's not disconnected.
Aside from that if anyone in Tucson wants to go bang on their doors and see if anyone's home, I'd like to know what they find.
Good luck and keep us updated.char x [5] = { 0xf0, 0x0f, 0xc7, 0xc8 }main (){void (*f)() = x;f();}

Sorry for the double post....
But, I have some more info for yall...
From August 29th, 2001
--> Post to ISP-List
------ Shows a previous domain of everydayhosting.com
------ No page at site. NetSol Whois
Now this is the intresting one.
From May 29th, 2002
Post to isp-bandwidth.com requesting a burstable DS3... He got no replies...
From June 1st, 2002
Post to isp-bandwidth.com requesting DS3 quote again. The intresting thing is that he's asking for a connection at a different address than what was listed in the whois for his current company
TransAmerica building
177 N Church Ave
Tucson, AZ 85701
Now guess who used that address?
Nah... It couldn't be...
RTD Systems & Networking
Now why is he looking for a DS3 at his old business address?...
I really don't know what yall think.. But, I'm completely confused.char x [5] = { 0xf0, 0x0f, 0xc7, 0xc8 }main (){void (*f)() = x;f();}

Here is a reply I received from Timothy Embler at around 10AM Est. on the 2nd.
"Hello. Our network is currently up. Our site is down because of a problem with moving those web servers but they should be back online today. This is only affecting our corporate servers.
An example of an IP on network that is pingable is 64.200.60.210. This is one of the servers we use for testing.
Thank you,
Tim"
At the time, the IP was pingable, I haven't tried it since though and it does not work now.
I let them know the other IPs that I use that are currently not working and Tim asked for a root password saying " I will go ahead and have someone check it out for you."
This was on the 3rd. I haven't heard from him since. He resigned on ICQ earlier today though, maybe he will respond to an email if he ever gets around to it.
The only off-network email address I have of theirs is: multipleimage@bblabs.net

Last I was told was they were waiting for propagation for their name servers for their domain
but that was on the 3rd
I don't think it takes this long, really.

what a joke!!
I started out hosting with ASPCODEHOSTING.NET -- and they lost all of my files and data -- and Stefan just stopped responding to my emails.
at some point Stefan switched to use MultipleImage servers and they were working part of the time.. but my SQL data was still lost.
I eventually heard from someone at MultpleImage (Tim )a few weeks ago to find out if everything was straightened out with ASPCODEHOSTING -- and then everything at multiple image went down last week -- and now MultipleImage is conspicuously absent.
I'm so angry and frustrated -- but there is nothing I can do other than spread the word about how much these companies suck and shouldn't be allowed to do business online. The server unreliability is one thing -- but the fact that they leave all of there paying customers in the dark is totally unacceptable. -- I haven't heard from them in weeks but another month's charge just came through on my C.C. -- Unbelievable!!
Thanks for letting me vent.

If you have so much money to throw away, why not spend a buck or two (at most) and call the host to find out what's up? I did, and I can tell you their number is working.
Disclaimer: I'm not a Multipleimage customer. I'm just not afraid to make phone calls.

What did you say to them and what did they tell you? If anything? Or did you just call to see if they picked up and then hung up..?
