Exclamation

I want to create a sign up form so that users can goto my site, then sign up for their acct but that can also email some sort of receipt..
Just wondering if there is any tutorials going about? Or some examples, just need a kick in the right direction.
Would pay someone to do it, but i think it would be rather expencive and do not have much money..
However im quick to learn.. so what would be the best way of doing this?

I would also like it to span over a couple of pages, say 3?

Cheers

Craig

Craig,

How automated of a solution are you looking for?

If you are looking for something simple I know there is a CGI script called Soupermail. I know its listed at CGI Resources unbder form processing.

You could use this with some modification and I think it's free.

Hope this helps.

Drop me a line if you need help with it.

Im not looking for it to be totally automated.
Just want details such as address and such to be entered then the form sent (as a reicpt) sort of thing to both myself and their email address.
I really dont think it would be that complex but for someone who know's very little, be alittle bit difficult.

Cheers

Craig

Craig,

Check out this little form processing script:
http://cgi.tj/scripts/alienform/

This has everything that you are looking for. I have used it before and it is easy to set up. It will also let you span across pages like you needed.

If you get stuck e-mail me with your problems and I will help you to get it up and running.
