Lol, that made me laugh, just because it has no known bugs then it can't possibly have any security holes - how the hell do they think holes get known about? Magic? Or maybe because people discover them?

hmm... Win2k uses 127character password .... i use a 28character password combination that I used to use on usa.net .. guess I can use that again.
Is there any portsentry, logsentry, hostsentry, chkrootkit type program for NT ?
any security issues in h-sphere ? can anyone give me a list of it's features compared to those of hostingcontroller ?
how much will be the initial investment for h-sphere

H-Sphere definaly. I think H-Sphere is a great control panel and its exceeding easy to learn and work with. Web Hosting newbee's I thought would find it really easy to use. It only takes a couple of logins to it before you basically know all about it.
I really vote it down as the second best Control Panel!

On the other hand you could just wait for Helm. Looks to be a far better CP.

Wow, HC's response to a valid support request was basically - You don't know what you're doing. ??? There can't be any security holes in our product. ??? Not a "please send us the information you have so we can look into it." or "We have just been made aware of this security flaw and are working to correct it as soon as possible."
Wow. That's some of the worst support I've seen.

Adam,
H-Sphere is not a Unix nor Win2k control panel. It is multi server, cross platform control panel.
It can do much more then setup websites on win2k. It allows windows users to completly manage their hosting on win2k platform.
That includes creation of websites, ftps, ODBC setups, disk quota, traffic quota, e-commerce setup. Management of different IIS settings for website. It also controls MS SQL hosting as well as ColdFussion & RealAudio/RealVideo on windows, and probably the only control panel that handles windows hosting with MySQL/PostgreSQL database managable from one interface.
The pieces that are installed on unix server are mail & dns. There is no difference for the end client. Win2k server runs native IIS + IIS FTPd or ServU FTPd (based on your choice), and is not different in any way from any other windows hosting.Igor Seletskiy

All i'm saying is that it requires the unix box to run. There are many win2k hosts that would prefer not to need that.
