I fell witness to gangland warfare on Saturday Night.
On saturday night I was walking home from the bar, and I heard a loud outburst from a nearby field. I immediately ran in the direction of the violence in hopes that I would catch some wicked execution or something. Instead, I arrived just in time to see some dude running away, whilst ranting about some "punk kids in the field". I then heard a second loud outburst from a nearby parking lot, and I arrived just in time to see a gang of youths ranting about a second gang of youths who had apparently ran up on their hizeads with a metal baseball bat of some sort. This group had decided that "da pos are comin", and were just about to run when a few of said 'pos' showed up, and surrounded the car. I then stood watching, and a police officer pulled up and told me not to move. I obeyed his command, and stayed there. They didn't ask me any questions, but it was pretty cool to witness this. Eventually, an ambulance showed up, and one or two of the youths were taken away. The other couple were taken away in police cars.
It was an interesting experience, especially to a half-drunk mikey.

As I've said...a few kids with baseball bats is not gangland warfare. I've broken up bigger fights at high school football games

What makes this an issue of gangland warfare was the fact that they were about to leave because da po's were coming.

What are you doing running "in" to the direction of the violence?
What is "Da Pos", is it French?

You should get a video camera and go looking for GANGLAND WARFARE and record it for us all to see.

I should, but i'm much more into still photography, as opposed to video.
