    Reseller Package

Hi, im thinking of getting a dedicated server from eservers.biz and offering the following package for resellers..

    7 GB of diskspace
50 GB of bandwidth per month
    Ensim Control Pannel
    Free Support
    $35 a month

    The server specs are...

    AMD Duron 1000 MHz
    512MB RAM
    60GB 7200rpm Hard Drive

Before i can order the server i need at least 5 pre-orders.

If you have any questions please pm me or talk to me on msn (scott567@madasafish.com).

    Thanks

Or cpanel could be installed on the server but the price would rise from $35 a month to $49 per month.

Shouldn't you order the server first?!

You could start off with a reseller plan yourself until you have enough customers to cover your server. Plus you'd build up a rep with your customers for providing a good service. Instead of just kind of expecting people to take a chance on you.

Then you need to offer something to differentiate yourself from those companies. Also, find your niche or target client, and just concentrate on acquiring them, you don't need to necessarily lower your prices.

Are you going to manage the server yourself? Is there going to be SSL? Do I get my own nameservers? Cpanel/WHM? Any e-commerce?

Just need to know what you plan on offering here.

    thanks,

    matt

Are you going to manage the server yourself?
No, i have few people to help.

Do I get my own nameservers?
    Yes

    Cpanel/WHM?
Cpanel/whm (http://www.cpanel.net) will be installed on the server if there are enough people interested.

    Any e-commerce?
Cpanel has a built in feature to install e-commerce software so the answer is yes

Is there going to be SSL?
In order to have proper SSL installed on your account, you will be required to purchase a SSL certificate. I suggest going to http://www.rackshack.net/quickssldetails.asp for more information on SSL certificates.
