The only dll32 file I've ever known of is a Dynamic Link Library, not an executable.

I suggest looking here: http://www.sarc.com/ fo rinfo on that virus .. and check your registry if that dll32.exe isn't started on system startup ... that could explain the returning of the trojan ...

I'm running XP Pro. Have got a rundll32.exe in the same directory, but not dll32.exe.

I would delete dll32.exe. From what I can find, and I am NO expert, it is simply a self extracting zip that places specific DLLs on your system for particular programs to run.

So unless you downloaded it to install these DLLs then it has probably already done its job and can be deleted anyway.

Again I am no expert but that is what a search in google for dll32.exe brought up...

    Regards,
    Michael

I'm running XP Pro and no sign of the file.

The only file even close on my system is rundll32.exe
