Problems?? What problems?? Everything's sweet as!!

Are we that small minded with our thinking of what a website is all about and what its purpose is, that we can't think outside the square a tad??

More information here for enquiring minds.

No controversy here in NZ on a Tuesday I'm afraid - It's outlawed

It's a good idea - brave, very brave He must have run it past the wife and gotten approval - So anyone who doesn't like it had better front up to Aussie Bobs Mrs

    Aussie Bob,

Very cool Idea and I wish the best to you and your service<S>, good show, nice to see someone thinking out of the box, some of the garbage i've seen lately on this board is just that garbage, thanks for having something that ends up here and is actually positive, but then that's what I've seen from ya for as long as you've been here.

I might just move an account to your service just to check it out.

Yes, Mrs Aussie Bob fully approves. I am not that brave as to go against the wishes of the Minister for War and Finance.

Me neither, if you ever get to come over the ditch to Auckland, look me up - It would be good to exchange notes about how to keep them happy - Not an easy job being an insomniac webhost lol - Having the minister of war and finance kept happy is a very critical job....

What I don't understand is why you launched it before it was finished... i.e. the buttons at the top done and text etc. If I was a potential client I have to say at the moment I think it would confuse me and perhaps scare me away....

I mean, don't get me wrong its a nice idea, I would just have ensured that it was 100% finished before pushing it out in public. I think its maybe just a little too radical, but then maybe thats a good thing. Who knows these days.

Anyway, good luck with it Aussie Bob, I know you'll make it a success

Otherwise, you can always turn to www.AussieBobEatsHat.com Could there be potential there?

Actually I would say that your post shows you didn't read it. In Aussie Bob's announcement he states:

Over the next coming weeks, the top section of the forum will be modified to include plan buttons and text etc.
Suggesting that it is not "finished" as there are no buttons at the top and text at the top. I have to say with this added it will be a great idea, but I think perhaps this should have been done first as going to httpme.com and seeing just a forum seems kinda weird at the minute... I'm not bashing, just offering an honest personal opinion.

Evolution is a gradual process. 1 step at a time. We have a good client base and aren't too worried about aggressive customer acquisition now anyways, so hence the no real mad rush in getting to that part of the site. Orders are still coming in as per normal.

It's coming. 1 step at a time. I'm in no rush.

Nothing is ever 100% finished. It's a continual process of evolution/growth/development etc. We're just in that process right now.
Anyway, good luck with it Aussie Bob, I know you'll make it a success
Thanks. I think I can claim some aspect of total uniqueness. Noone is stupid enough to copy this.

Right. Your company is getting more and more successful. Someone will soon copy. Look at Marc's site at MCHost. Not the most revolutionary site, yet the company is very successful, and the poor guys site gets copied what seems to be daily.

PS - You may just double the sales of Jelsoft over the months.

Does anyone know if any other hosts have the same format as we currently do?? Maybe this is a industry first?? Can I claim to be the first?

Yep. Also spending a couple of grand a month at SitePoint brings 'em in by the droves too.

Not even close - you run 2.2.5 and Aussiebobs is 2.2.6

Mind you they do both say jelsoft at the bottom, maybe Aussiebob bought it from a company who copied your forum... lol
