I am tired of maintaining different folders to maintain files. The trouble is that many files overlap and I end up either maintaining separate folders or constantly wondering which folder to file it in.

Does Google Desktop offer the ability to tag a file so that instead of maintaining 500 folders, I can use a minimum set of tags and bring up the files I want using a search for that tag?
